Weekend Twilight Rates begin at 3 pm, Saturdays and Sundays @ all four golf courses.  Greens fees and power car for unlimited holes, only $24, after 3pm.  Power cars are due back to our clubhouses at sunset.

CONGRATULATIONS to John Stewart and Gary Nelson for having hole in ones on the same hole, on the same course, on the same day (Gardner golf course, July 27, hole #17). Also CONGRATULATIONS to Matt House for his hole in one at Gardner on July 26, hole #8.

NEW THIS SEASON....Early Bird Rates to save you money.  Play 18 holes with a cart for $24.  You must play before 10 am and here are the locations and days of the week when Early Bird rates are in effect.
Mondays..........Twin Pines
Tuesdays.........Ellis Park
Wednesday......Gardner
Thursdays........Jones Park

We extend our offer again this season with our LOCAL MARKET NEVER BE UNDERSOLD campaign on premium 2010 golf clubs. You get a written quote from a local golf course or retailer on a set of clubs, a driver or a putter....then bring it to either Ellis, Gardner, Jones or Twin Pines golf courses and speak with our PGA Professionals. We will match your best quote and SAVE YOU 7% ....valid for in stock and for special orders. Service with savings is our goal for our customers. (Local is defined as within 30 miles of Cedar Rapids....no we do not apply this offer to Internet sales opportunities.)

Golf staff has arranged additional Demo Days for your attendance.  June 1 from 9 - 1pm at Twin Pines, Wilson Golf will be represented.  On June 5 the Callaway sales rep will be at Ellis golf course from 11 - 3 pm.  And on Saturday June 12, Ping, Callaway, Taylor Made and Adams will be at Gardner from 1 - 5pm.

Over the winter Golf Staff updated the mission statement for the Golf Operations that relates to the City's Vision statement.  All full-time professional staff were involved in developing, writing and approving the new Golf Operation mission statement:
"To provide affordable golf and skill development facilities with quality customer service while being committed to sustainability, land stewardship and growing the game of golf for future generations."
